Critter’s Krib

It is almost 1am and I should feel tired, but I am feeling rather stoked! I was finally able to get
CFMX7 up and running on a flavor
of linux.

I had emailed Steven Erat
(Steven works for Adobe as a Senior Server Product Support Engineer. Don’t let that title fool you, the man is uber cool and always takes the time
to answer questions from us little people :) ) and asked him if he had any experience getting CFMX7 running
on Kubuntu. He replied, saying, the only non-supported version he had installed it on was Fedora. He also asked
me why I was partial to Kubuntu? I replied that I wasn’t, it was just one of the first version I cam across. Yesterday, I downloaded and installed
Fedora 4 on my laptop. I had Eclipse running on it, but it seems after the install
of CFMX7, it no longer works. Not a big deal, I will get that sorted out sooner or later. It looks to be a JVM issue of some sort.

Weather permitting, I am picking Talon up first thing in the morning so that we can go kayaking. The weather is only supposed to be in the 40’s, but as
long as the wind is not blowing, it shouldn’t be too bad. I hope it’s not that bad. I really want to get him out on the kayak with me!

Anyway, I should get back to cleaning the house. wh00t!
