I was having a gander at my
Google Analytic Reports, and like I mentioned in last nights
post, I get a lot of keyword searches for
tattoos. I also get a lot of hits from some sick perverts. I am not going to type out any of the keywords,
but you can see them listed in the image to the right. How sad. Get help, people.

On another blog related note, Jake has announced
that v5.0 of BlogFusion is
finally creaping it’s way up around the corner. I have seen previews of the upcoming version and I am
excited about upgrading!

You will need to explain a few things for me, if you don’t mind. Although I tend to think of myself as a
technical-psuedo-nerd, keeping up to date with what I can do with a mobile phone (in terms of carriers, etc)
has me oh-so confused. Which, to be honest, isn’t that hard to do.

I currently have a HIPTOP AKA SideKick II. What I really need want is the ability to sync up with outlook
or an exchange server. I can get a decent price on a new BlackBerry, but it lacks a camera, and as sad as it may
sound, I love having a camera on my phone. I use it all
the time. I guess I should also mention that I am with SUNCOM,
and that actually leaves me a bit limited as to phone choices. Anyway, I have been looking at the TREO 650 and
actually wouldn’t mind investing in the TREO 700w. I have been thinking (scary thought, huh?) I might try to
get ahold of an unlocked 650, but not fully understanding the whole “unlocked” thing. I do not want to invest
in one unless I am sure that it will work on SUNCOM’s network. So, if you do not have any suggestions, I’ll
be Googlin’ and see what pops up..

I get quite a few links into my website via searches for tattoo’s, with a large majority of them for “tattoo sleeves”. I figured I should
pimp out the guy that does my work. Neal has been doing my
ink for many years. He works at Kevin’s Tattoo Zoo in
Cary, NC. I cannot say enough good great things about Neal’s work. He has hand drawn both of my sleeves, taking my ideas and turning
them into a reality. Simply amazing, and on top of all that, a great friend.

I added a copy of his business card to one of the pods. It currently takes you to his site, which I hope to be working with him soon to spruce
up.. and bring into the year 2006

If you are looking for a great and personable artist for some ink work. I wholeheartedly suggest you give Neal
a call (919-469-0770 @ Kevin’s Tattoo Zoo). It cannot hurt to just talk to him, and since a tattoo is a permanent decision, it can’t
hurt to check all your options.

In closing I would like to say one thing. If you are thinking of getting a tattoo, I really want to push you towards a personal solution
as opposed to just picking one off the shelf. I think the walls of flash are a good place to start, perhaps to just give you an idea or such. Even if you
really like a piece of flash, I suggest making it your own by using that as a starting point and having your artist personalize it in some way. Do you
really want to have a carbon copy tattoo? No, of course you don’t. You want something that is your own. Trust me, in the end, you will be much happier
with your decision.

Oh yeah, that’s right, it is sitting at my ex-wife’s work. Why is it sitting there you ask? Because first Ricky broke their car, and when I lent
him my beater car, well.. he broke that one too today. WTF?!? He filled up the power steering fluid (which /was/ low) and he added coolant to the
overflow last nite. This morning after dropping Kate off at work, as he backed up he cut the wheel all the way. Apparently
Ghila doesn’t like that and decided to spew all the freshly added power steering fluid over the
engine, and apparently that burns off with a nice billowy cloud. Lesson learned; we do not cut the wheel all the way. Fast forward
to this afternoon. Ricky arrives at Kate’s work (after running various errands throughout the day) and Ghila over-heats and spews all
that freshly added coolant. Lesson learned; Ricky broke my car! I have driven it for weeks with no problem. Tempermental car or conspiracy?

This is just for archival purposes and to help me remembera little tidbit for the future.
Critter, never, ever, ever lend Ricky your truck.. (Ricky + car) = bad news = car go bye bye.

Is it me or are the days just taking forever to go by? I swear it’s doing my friggin head in sometimes. Anyway.. I resisted the urge to get a different
cell phone this afternoon. Oh, it was tough. Mine works good enough. It does the job I need it to do. But oh how the newer phones have such
pretty bells and whistles. I also resisted the urge to get a new radio for the truck. My only reason for looking at a new reciever is so that I do not
have that stupid XM Roady that transmits over just a few FM stations. Normally, this wouldn’t be that bad, but I swear, I have to constantly change
the stations, since most of them are actually used. I could run the stupid tape player adapter, but the dangling wires are just annoying.

I am on a mad crunch to get my debt squared away. No more frivilous spending.
From here on out, it is bills, bills, bills. Ha! not like that is much different than any other time.

My neck is still killing me. I am quickly running out of pain killers and muscle relaxers. I slept with a towel rolled up under the crook of my neck.
I am not sure if it helped all that much. It did, however, allow me the privledge of sleeping with my mouth gaping open so that it could completely
dry out and aggravate my throat for most of the day. I’ve been throwing an ice pack on it, but it’s not helping. It’s not like it kept me from
doing any work outside the house, since the weather was absolutely shitty this afternoon.

Just an offside note, Captain Morgan’s Private Stock is not all that great. Captain Morgan’s Tattoo, however, is very nice. JSYK.

Kate and Ricky found a car today, they pick it up on Monday after work. So that is cool.

Tomorrow we are heading off to the beach. I cannot wait. It’s been .. well, I guess it has been a year since we have been there. The beach in
the winter.. eh.. not so great.

Some good news? Well for me, not for you. I just hit [SEND] and paid off one credit card, and paid off a large bit of debt on another one. Yeah bills!

I just finished reading
The Davinci Code
It was a pretty interesting book. Although, I am not sure if that is due to it /really/ being all that good, or the fact that it has literally been years
since I have had the chance to read a book. I do miss it. I used to read so much. I remember, years ago I would read a book from start to finish within just
a few days. I would stay up until the wee hours of the morning to finish reading a book. It seems I never have extra time now-a-days. It would be great to
get back into the habit of reading again. I do miss it.

By the way, Talon absolutely loves his new fort bed. I think I am actually jealous. It is .. it is awesome. We picked up linen sets for it today. He chose
Spongebob for the top, and Batman for the bottom. I would have thought he would have chosen Spider-Man for the bottom, but he insisted on Batman.. who am I to argue.. it’s his
bed.

Oh yeah, I had to implement the verification for comments due to all the friggin comment spam I have been receiving lately. Not that it should hinder you from posting
yer comments!

I must go thaw some frozen rats, as it appears the snakes are hungry and ready to eat!

You know how gum comes in those little bubble packs now? Yesterday I popped a piece out, and picked up the pack to
just grab the piece with my teeth. In doing so, I sliced my lip on the foil. It was a decent little slice so I grabbed
a papertowel and held it between my lips as I went about my business. After about 10 minutes I reached up and grabbed
the papertowl, which had dried to the cut /and/ (keyword there) the rest of my lips. As the papertowel came away from
my lip it removed with it a section of skin from the opposite side of my mouth! I now have a small razor on
the left side of my mouth and a nice chunk of skin missing from the swollen right side of my mouth.

Idiot are I

Talon’s new bed arrived the other day. If I have time I will pick it up tomorrow evening after work. I cannot wait until he sees it. He
has been asking about getting a bunkbed for ages, and I am sure he has absolutely no idea he is getting one.

I had looked online for them, but I could rarely find what I wanted for under a $1000. I had remembered seeing one at
Childs Space a while back. The one I wanted was originally marked at just under $800, but was on sale that
weekend for just over $500. Couldn’t pass that up, now could I? Cha-Ching!

I’ve loaned the Ghila Monster to Kate and Ricky for a couple of days. Their van is dying.
Ricky took it in today and the mechanic said the transmission only had about 10 miles left on it. And to fix the transmission will cost them
a hefty $4,000. Ouch! Then Ricky drove the van home and used up 5 of the 10 miles the mechanic said it had left. Tsk, Tsk. So now if they
need to trade the van in, they can only do so within a 5 mile radius of their apartment. Slim pickings, me thinks. I would throw some *octane boost
in that bitch and race like a bat out of hell to a dealership.

The weekend is almost here. Can you feel it? Oh man, I sure as hell can. I have a shitload of DIY
projects that I need to get started on back to. Hopefully the weather holds out somewhat. If it is rainy and dreary out, I will
only be motivated to sit on my ass in front of the computer, which will drive me nuts. Arg! If my neck wasn’t still totally fux0red, I
would definitely be slipping ye ole kayak into the waters of yon
Jordan Lake.

ps I love playing with the dry ice they are packed in.

As you can see (if not now, shortly), I am in the process of re-skinning the site. The dark colors I had were beginning to bore me. This skin feels a bit lighter. I would probably knock it out tonite, but I have a /ton/ of clothes to fold and iron (damn my obsession!!)
