How do you choose one over the others?

SPRING LAKE, N.C. — Detectives arrested a Cumberland County woman on attempted murder charges Monday after finding a disabled child starving in her home.Wesley Carter, a mentally retarded 12-year-old with cerebral palsy, was living with Stephanie Williams, 35, a family friend, according to authorities. Police said Williams’ own four children, ages 7 to 15, were well-fed and well-dressed.But Wesley, 12, weighed just 32 pounds when medics found
him three weeks ago, police said. He was so filthy that emergency workers had to wash him before they could treat him.

How do you, in the same house, feed a few children and leave one to starve? How do you do that to a child?

    How can anyone do that to a child – period? Whether or not there are other children in the house. It is just sick, depraved and evil!
