Critter’s Krib

Or should I say, “I spy something orange”, Every Wednesday Talon keeps getting an Orange at school. I stopped by his school a bit earlier this morning so I could have a chat with his teacher.

Talon seems to get in trouble in group reading and in music class, both of which, occur on Wednesdays. Other days he just talks to much.

We currently have a deal that if he gets Green for a one month period I will get him a dune buggy. But since he keeps getting an Orange, we have to keep starting over. It is a safe bet, that I won’t be dishing out the money for a while.

It sucks, because I know all about the talking too much thing. Story of my life when I was in school. You just can’t help it I will have to print up some pictures of the dune buggy and put them in his notebook. Perhaps it will be closer to his mind then.

I must be losing it - thought I added that comment before. Well, here it is again:
Here’s Grandma chiming in. A month or four weeks either mean an eternity or nothing at his age. Why don’t you just tell him he has to earn 30/31 greens. And then start a little chart - the more orange he gets, the longer it will take, but he will be able to see some progress. If I would have to start over every time - I’d think it wouldn’t be worth the trouble!
By the way, I do remember the notes you brought home from your teachers! :)

Aye, that’s probably a better way to do it..
