Would you eat it?

Posted by Critter under Random Stuff

It seems cool and all that I would open up a packet of PopTarts and find two regular sized poptargs with an extra 1/4 poptart

extra-poptart (1)

I was excited at first, but the fact that the extra bit of poptart has an open and exposed end put me off eating it.

The pain in my face just became too unbearable a while ago. I was lucky enough to get a last minute appointment at Mann ENT.

The doctor says my septum is partially deviated. He also said the reason for the headaches today is that swelling tends to peak around the third day. I knew my septum was deviated, that has always been the case, but it is worse now. The nasal passage on the left side is pretty much closed off.

Oh, and the bottom of my nose is crooked now. There goes my modeling contracts.

Oh, btw… Happy Birthday, Kate

Or should I say, “I spy something orange”, Every Wednesday Talon keeps getting an Orange at school. I stopped by his school a bit earlier this morning so I could have a chat with his teacher.

Talon seems to get in trouble in group reading and in music class, both of which, occur on Wednesdays. Other days he just talks to much.

We currently have a deal that if he gets Green for a one month period I will get him a dune buggy. But since he keeps getting an Orange, we have to keep starting over. It is a safe bet, that I won’t be dishing out the money for a while.

It sucks, because I know all about the talking too much thing. Story of my life when I was in school. You just can’t help it I will have to print up some pictures of the dune buggy and put them in his notebook. Perhaps it will be closer to his mind then.

Said in Forest Gump like voice. There I was walking down a hall, minding my own business. I took a left expecting to turn into a room, but I had turned left into another hallway, as I took a few more steps, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the room I wanted to enter. I turned and

BAM!!!

I walked into what I thought was an open door, but the immediate pounding in my nose told me that it was a beautifully cleaned, spotless window. I nailed it. It was just like getting punched in the face, my eyes water instantly and my nose and head started pounding.

Anyway, it is the next morning. I still have a horrible headache and my nose is all swoled (it could be a word) up. bah

These are too cool. The things they think of.

What matches what?

I am headed out of town Sunday afternoon for a quick trip to California. I needed shirt and tie for one of the day, so I stopped by Kohls this evening to pick up the necessary attire.

It only took me a couple of minutes to realize that I severely lack any ability to match any color or style of clothing. Seriously, how the hell am I supposed to put an outfit together. Am I supposed to match the tie to the trousers or to the socks. How do I match the tie to the shirt?

Why can’t I just dress all in one color? I bet even I could pick out black slacks, a black shirt and a black tie. Now wouldn’t that be much easier?

It would for me. I could always visit the children’s section and match up my colors from the Garanimals section, except the tie throws me all off.

Ties should at least come with a small card that shows what basic colors the damn things go with.

Funny as hell

This is a shirt you can get. They are, unfortunately sold out on most of the sizes. If they do a reprint, I will definitely get one. This makes me laugh as much as this Sprint commercial:

Dad kept boy in prison of cameras, police say

POSTED: 1:40 p.m. EDT, October 12, 2006

JACKSONVILLE, Florida (AP) — A man has been charged with torturing his 9-year-old son by keeping him locked in a bedroom for much of the past three years, with a surveillance camera tracking his every move, authorities said Thursday.

The home of Randall Warren Piercy, 41, was like a prison that had cameras in almost every room, with the father monitoring the boy on television and computer screens, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Lt. Annie Smith said.

During the past three years, the boy has not attended school, received medical attention or had contact with people outside his family, Smith said. The police report said he was home schooled but could not read children’s books.

The state Department of Children & Families took the boy from the home, sheriff’s spokesman Ken Jefferson said.

Relatives told police that the boy was usually allowed to use the bathroom once a day because his father was teaching him to control his body.

Piercy was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated child abuse in the torture, malicious punishment and unlawful caging of the boy.

Why the hell the relatives did nothing about that situation is beyond me. How can more than one person know about something like this and not do anything about it?

The mother is quoted in the article as saying, “We are very protective”, and the cameras were for his protection because he was hyperactive. What a crock of shite.

Frickin people today, I swear it is seriously time to start thinning out the gene pool a bit..

An eye for an eye?

Does she get it twice then? Seriously, they should test people before they have kids.

I cannot wait until we get going full swing in the YMCA Y-Guides. Talon and I are, both, very excited. The program used to be called Indian Guides, but the “Indian” was dropped for political correctness. meh.

We will be planning a small camping trip in November, I believe. I am so stoked!

We came up with our indian names last night. Talon will be Little Eagle Claw and I will be Painted Eagle. Clever, huh?
