I pulled up to the Starbucks drive-thru the other day and they had a tip jar sitting next to the window. I used to work in the service, so I understand the importance to one’s income tipping can be. These people make at least minimum wage. I usually just ignore the tip jars on the inside, but putting it on the outside is just tacky IMO.
I agree. No other fast service place asks you to tip them in the drive through. I always ignore that thing as much as possible. I’ll tip at Thundercloud or something, but just because you have a shitty job and you pour hot liquid into a cup for me doesn’t make me want to tip you.
