Critter’s Krib

So, I am on this conference call this afternoon. I was driving Talon to a birthday party at the same time. I heard one of the clients ask a question. There was a bit of silence, then she said “Cricket?”.

I heard brakes squeal to a stop in my head.

As soon as the call was over, I called one of the other people on the call, and asked,

“Did she just call me Cricket?”

Laughter erupted from the phone, “No, but we will definitely be calling you that from now on.”

“wtf?”, I thought to myself.

They further explained, “The client asked a question, and when there was nothing but silence as an answer, she said ‘crickets’”.

Ha! well now, didn’t I feel like an idiot. Yeap.
