    You knew I would look at it! Don’t worry - I’m not upset. It goes beyond being upset. I feel literally sick to see that my son enjoys pain so much to mutilate his body to this extent.

    *shrug* you say mutilate, I say modify..

    Chicks go through more pain to have their breasts enlarged, and those stare someone in the face.
    People get tattoos.. the pain is relative IMO.

    I made a small change that is noticed by no one but myself. Unless I stick my tongue out, you cannot tell. *shrug* It’s for me.

    Yikes. Better your mom than mine. No offense, of course. I’m just glad my dad accepts me and doesn’t tell me he’s made "sick" by the things that I enjoy.

    naw… my mom’s actually pretty good with what I do. It is a shocking picture, and can be difficult for some people to view…

    Kaitlin - I dont’ know who you are - and you sure as h… don’t know me. I accept and love my son no matter what. That does not mean that I cannot offer my opinions or feelings about what he does. And yes, as a mother I feel sick and disgusted that my son is "modifying" his body the way he does, but that sure as heck doesn’t mean that I don’t love or accept him. It’s his life and he has to live it! He knows that I’m there for him whatever!

    aye.. it’s actually a pretty automatic thing, although it is hard to know what I am doing with it unless I am looking in the mirror… with time I will learn to have more control over them.

    It is a /very/ odd feeling to be able to lick the inside of your lips and the outside at the same time :)
