Critter’s Krib

Look, nothing up my sleeve!I’ll be the first to admit it. I am not the most organized person in the world, but I do my best. But hey, it’s the age of technology, right? So, if I need to find something out, I should be able to navigate my way to my son’s school’s website and find what I need, right?

If you take a peek at the image to your right, you will notice there is no mention of anything after October 25th. *shrug* I guess there is nothing going on.

This morning started off just like any other morning. Breakfast consisted of pancakes with chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, and oatmeal mixed into the batter (they taste better than it sounds — of course it sounds great to me).  Talon dressed and brushed his teeth, and had a little bit of time to play on Nicktropolis.

It was chilly out this morning. We heated up the truck as quickly as possible, then headed down the street to the bus stop. When we arrived at the stop, it was deserted. We are normally the first ones there, but the parking lot is usually filled with teacher’s cars. Just as soon as we pulled in, Talon remembered his teacher had said something about them having a ‘teacher workday’.

Hmmmm.

I phoned Katie and asked her. She had no idea (she is much better on keeping track of things like this). I phoned Conn and they told me, that yes, today is a teacher workday. No school for Talon.

Ok, no biggie.

When I arrived back at the apartment, I pulled up Conn’s website. I scoured the site for anything that would mention a Teacher Workday. I found nothing. There was a link to a Conn Calendar, but as you can see below, it was ‘under construction’. Seriously?? We are months into the calendar year, and it’s still under construction.

Fine then, I’ll click on the WCPSS Calendar link. Oops, I guess not, look where that one goes.

Seriously? Who allows this shit to go into production? Mind you, I am sure it is probably Betty Sue or Jim Bob that works on the website. To be honest, I don’t care who does the site, but FFS keep the damn thing updated!

Conn’s magnet theme is ‘Active Learning and Technology’. Scary, huh?

  1. Katie Said,

  2. Critter Said,
