I would have bought a pair of these in a heartbeat
Posted by: | CommentsThis morning as I was reading tweets that came in overnight on my phone, I came across this one from @abbyladybug.
When I first opened up the article, I have to tell you, my heart skipped a little beat! The image that popped up was awesome, and I thought there was a new product available.

I thought Vibram had come out with a dress shoe for the Five Fingers line. I was wrong, but it’s still a good article. Vibram does, however, have a new version out. They are geared toward keeping your five toes a tad warmer. I might have to pick these up for next winter.

In case you didn’t know, I have a pair of the ‘Sprints’ and I absolutely love them. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I don’t think I can go anywhere without somebody stopping me and asking me about them.
I think the most asked question is “Isn’t it uncomfortable to have something between your toes?” You would think it is, but it’s really not. They are the next best thing to being barefoot.

Blog under constuction
Posted by: | CommentsAs you can see, I have been changing things around a bit. The theme has (obviously) changed. In addition to that I have changed the blog engine itself so that I can support our latest release (more on that later).
But anyway.. pardon the changes… I will probably be switching out the theme over the next few days until I find one that clicks with me…
Somebody has been spying on me!
Posted by: | CommentsHow else could they have gotten the idea for this comic strip?!?
Mate of mine passed this onto me… said it was “so Critter“.
He was right
Talon just turned 8. How old do you feel?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m just getting around to having a few minutes to catch up on things. This weekend has pretty much flown by. Talon’s birthday was this past Friday. We had his party yesterday at Monkey Joe’s, and as always he and his friends had a great time.

We all walked into MJ’s wearing shorts and T-shirts on a bright, sunny day. When we left two hours later it was pouring down rain and about 10-15 degrees colder.
Talon received some great gifts for his birthday.. plenty of stuff to keep him us busy with
anyway… thanks to all that came out for his party…

Twas a damn fine weekend
Posted by: | CommentsThis weekend was a district (?) scout outing for Talon’s pack. We camped out from Friday evening until this morning. It was a busy, but fun weekend. Our tent is pretty large (it has a porch, ha!), so Talon’s buddy, Tyler, and his father crashed with us. I have a bunch of pictures to pull off my camera and post to Flickr, but these from my phone will do for now
The porch area keeps the kids busy.
