Time to get back in shape with P90X
It’s been a while since I have hit the gym heavily enough to make me feel like I have really been doing anything worthwhile there. I’ve been wanting to get back on P90X, but just haven’t been able to motivate myself to do it.
Now, if you haven’t heard about P90X, then you obviously do not watch late night TV, loaded with infomercials. But do not dismiss it just because it is sold on an informercial. It is a great, kick ass program.
Meegan and I were talking about P90X the other day, and we decided to go through it together. That way we could motivate each other.
And so we did…
Last week was our first week on the program, and it is just as I remembered it; ass-kicking!! The week left us both sore and tired, but in that you’ve actually done something kind of way.
And as I did before.. I will post my 1,30,60, and 90 day pictures here. I fell short when I did it last time, and even though I lost over 30lbs. I did not follow the program as strictly as I should have. This time will definitely be different. We will be pushing each other to the end!
I would be quite happy to lose 10lb. and gain 5lb. I am done with the days of wanting to be ‘huge’, I just want to be healthy, fit, and trim!
