See, that’s how up to date I have been lately. Sad, I know. You should know that I always have the best of intentions. I always want to do an update and let you know what is going on in our oh so exciting lives… no seriously.. I do! pfft.
Not much kicking now, though. We had Katie (my ex-wife) and her family, along with some other friends over for a grill out on the 4th. It was a tame, but fun evening. I guess the whole getting older thing removes a bit of wildness from family gatherings. I did have my first beer since returning from England in May. It was noice!
Talon is doing well. He is enjoying his summer vacation, and spends as much time as possible at the pool. He is quite proud of his tan, and the fact that he doesn’t ‘burn anymore’. He also spends a lot of time playing with a neighbor girl named Cassidy, but he’s still in that phase where he won’t admit to liking her 
The two of them are very cute together.
Phoenix is doing good. He isn’t quite doing the ‘growing like a weed’ thing, but he is growing. He is ‘talking’ up a storm, of course his strongest words, of course, are ‘NO’ (complete with a head shake), ‘Shoes’, and ‘Out’. His sitter has been teaching him sign-language, which he uses quite a bit.
I’ve moved him out of his crib and into Talon’s old race car shaped bed. He loves the bed, but it does take me going back into his room a couple of times when it is bedtime to ask him to get back into bed.
Me… It’s pretty much the SSDD… I /did/ get a new bit of ink last week. It’s the old ColdFusion logo.
