I had the same procedure done back in April. Mine was on the side of my nose and they had to go back in FIVE TIMES before they got it all out. Talk about a crater, they were digging into my nose from 8 in the morning until almost 4pm. It was scary-looking.

I was worried I'd look like the elephant man, but I was looking reasonably normal after about a week, and now I look practially good as new. There's actually still a lot of surface numbness, and there's still some swelling inside my nostril, but my doctor said that was normal and that in fact it would take up to a year to fully heal. Still, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, and am VERY pleased that I've made all my kids wear sunscreen since they were babies.

Thanks for the vid, it was good to hear from somebody else who had to go thru the same thing.

Crazy Critter. Glad you're taking care of all of that. I saw the photos come through on my flickr and was like "what the F". I didn't actually say that, but it was in my head.

Good video. What are you shooting on?

Dayum. Good vid, rocker. Yeah, your nose looks like someone beat the crap out of you, but it will heal up and look more normal again soon. Now go sit on the couch with a beer. You deserve it. Happy healing.
