Commercialized BS
Valentine’s Day is such crap.
OK, parents, this product is for your children, not you. You may purchase this, but like I said. It is for your children. I had better not hear of you playing in the goo!
You may now proceed to this website and make a purchase. Careful the site plays video automatically. Or you can proceed to this site and purchase a ton of the stuff in a more generic form.
Have fun.
The guys upstairs are making steady progress laying down the bamboo hardwood floor. It is taking a bit longer than I expected, but they had to bring up the floor level in the kitchen and the hallway - fair enough. They do look good though.
As you can see by the pictures below, we are finally coming to the end of our kitchen remodel. The drywall is finally finished and painted. The ceiling is finally scraped clean, patched and painted. We still need to put a bit of tiling behind the sink, and I need to switch out the electrical outlets to newer ones.
Installers will start on the bamboo flooring tomorrow. I am so glad we are not doing it ourselves. Once the flooring is done, I’ll go through and finish up the door and window trim.
The cake was for Jen’s birthday. I’m not sure when it (is | was). Anyway, it is finally coming together, and I for one am overjoyed. There were times I thought this would project would never end.
Another busy weekend put to rest. They go by way too quickly lately.
I hope those of you that acknowledge Thanksgiving have a safe and tummy filled day. Those of you that don’t, should stay safe and eat lots too.
Michael Bay, the director for the new Transformer’s movie has a blog posting about paid extras being needed for the movie.
You’re damn right I sent in my information! Cross your fingers for me, will ya?
While I enjoy a nice steak, sometimes I just go for quantity over quality. This baby is 2.89 lbs of bloody rareness.
I guess it is a good thing I start my day at 4:30 am.
Yesterday Microsoft released a “Technical Refresh” to their Office 2007 Beta 2 product. I have been using the beta 2 since it was released, and have been pretty happy with it on the whole. Outlook recently started throwing errors every time I opened it. So much that I had to revert back
to Outlook 2003.
I was hoping, with the release of the Technical Refresh, that I would finally be able to run it again. Alas this was not the case.
Due to my configuration, I had to uninstall the entire suite. Reinstall Beta2, then install the TR. Outlook continued to do the exact same thing. As soon as I opened it, I received the ole “Error blah blah… Send to Microsoft… blah blah..” Every time. It wouldn’t even open up for me in safe mode, which it automatically attempts to do after so many failed openings.
So here I sit, waiting for it to finish uninstalling. I will then have to reboot (another horribly lengthy action) I spit on rebooting. Patooey! (You can hear the spitting sound in your head, I’m sure). After rebooting, we’ll (that’s just me).. I’ll be re-installing friggin 2003.
Oh well. time to reboot.
