It is a shame.

It is truly sad that this is an actual selling point of this software. And unfortunately, I bet this drives the
majority of their sales.

Spouse
Monitoring
Catch
a cheating spouse and stop infidelity!

Do
you suspect your spouse is cheating on you?

Have you noticed a change in their behavior around you and your family?
A cheating spouse is not an uncommon thing in today’s connected world.

  • Only
46% of men believe that online affairs are adultery. (DivorceMag)

  • Up
to 37% of men and 22% of women admit to having affairs. Researchers
think the vast majority of the millions of people who visit chat rooms,
have multiple “special friends”. (Dr. Bob Lanier,
    askbob.com)

  • One-third
of divorce litigation is caused by online affairs. (The Fortino
    Group)

  • Approximately
70% of time on-line is spent in chatrooms or sending e-mail; of these
interactions, the vast majority are romantic in nature. (Dr.
Michael Adamse, PhD., co-author of “Affairs of the Net: The Cybershrinks’
    Guide to Online Relationships”)

Our
monitoring software can quickly detect and give you the evidence you need
to prove that your spouse is remaining faithful to you - or cheating on
you. Our spy software tools, such as SpyAgent
and Realtime-Spy, can
operate in total stealth - defeating the built in Windows task manager
and popular spyware detection tools. These abilities mean you will not
have to worry about your spouse discovering you are monitoring them -
and even if you inform them they will still not be able to tell how. Logs
can even be stored in an encrypted format, so they can only be viewed
with our software.

Our
computer monitoring software will log and record what your spouse types,
who they talk to, documents they open and print, what websites they visit,
software titles they run, emails they send and receive, and even screenshots
of their actual online activities.

Stop
your cheating spouse in their tracks with our powerful monitoring spy
software.

Never fear the penguin

It is almost 1am and I should feel tired, but I am feeling rather stoked! I was finally able to get
CFMX7 up and running on a flavor
of linux.

I had emailed Steven Erat
(Steven works for Adobe as a Senior Server Product Support Engineer. Don’t let that title fool you, the man is uber cool and always takes the time
to answer questions from us little people :) ) and asked him if he had any experience getting CFMX7 running
on Kubuntu. He replied, saying, the only non-supported version he had installed it on was Fedora. He also asked
me why I was partial to Kubuntu? I replied that I wasn’t, it was just one of the first version I cam across. Yesterday, I downloaded and installed
Fedora 4 on my laptop. I had Eclipse running on it, but it seems after the install
of CFMX7, it no longer works. Not a big deal, I will get that sorted out sooner or later. It looks to be a JVM issue of some sort.

Weather permitting, I am picking Talon up first thing in the morning so that we can go kayaking. The weather is only supposed to be in the 40’s, but as
long as the wind is not blowing, it shouldn’t be too bad. I hope it’s not that bad. I really want to get him out on the kayak with me!

Anyway, I should get back to cleaning the house. wh00t!

i don’t care how square you are. i don’t believe you can look at the videos and pictures
on the (linked) website and not want a pair of these!!

  • i must have
  • i must have
  • i must have

i must get me a pair!!!

tivo + voip == grrrrr

Posted by Critter under Gizmos & Gadgets

i had a tivo a few years ago. in an attempt to clear up it’s sluggishness, i did the “reset this damn thing” thing.
iirc, it displayed something on the screen along the lines of “pleae be patient, this could
take several hours”. i let it run for two weeks. when i phoned tivo customer service i was advised to send it in, and they would fix it
for a paltry $150. i might as well just buy a new one. today i did. there were two different “versions” available. a 40 hour and a 80 hour one.
i chose the 40 hour model, knowing i can always add a second harddrive. the price on it was $199 with a $150 mail-in rebate. you can’t beat that!

so.. i found out that tivo does not support vonage or any
voip service. while attempting to set it up, the tivo
has to use the phone line to dial in and download all the programs. according to the setup screen, the download should only
take 10-20 minutes, but over the vonage line, it kept getting interruptions and had to start over. it was, to say the least,
annoying as hell!! i ended up taking the box over to kate’s house to use her land line for the dial in. it finished the
download quickly enough, but the box needs 6-8 hours to process all the information… so i can’t muck around with it until
after i pick up the box tomorrow morning!

i am totally excited about the ability to download the episodes from the box to my computer over my network! suh-wheet!

i’m always on the lookout for a decent calendaring application. outlook does a decent job, i just, very much, dislike the bloatedness of the
program. there is also the sunbird project, which is available as a
firefox extention or a standalone program. it’s a decent enough program, but it is still in it’s infancy, imo.
i would prefer to have an online solution that can be accessible from where ever i have a connection. i had been using
calendarhub for a while (i believe, it is finally out of beta, and open to the public). it is
decent enough, but just didn’t cut the bill for me. yesterday in the #coldfusion irc
channel, someone passed along the link to hipcal. i had a quick look at it last nite, and so far so good.
the interface is easy to use. the sms reminders that i setup were sent to my phone at the correct times. you can import contacts from several
email applications, including gmail and yahoo.

if you are interested in an online calendar solution… i would definitely give it a gander.

the above statement is sort of true as it relates to me. i do love feeddemon, i have yet
to have a play with version 2. the screenshots that have been posted over the last week or so, look great though! i cannot
wait to try the new version.

besides.. my use of the name critter is legal :) i just thought it was funny the way it appeared on goog.

i are NOT a spammer

Posted by Critter under Gizmos & Gadgets

ah the world of spam. it is amazing to me how many people actually continue to click links that arrive
in spam. if people stopped clicking the links would the spam disappear? i doubt it..

so anyway, i use zaep on my servers (for my accounts) to reduce spam. my email clients
are configured to send and retrieve through zaep. when someone sends me an email, they are immediately replied
to by the system, which sends them an email with a link to click (this only needs to be done once). when i check
my email, my client cannot see the email until they have clicked that link. once they have been added to my “whitelist”
i can view emails from them without interruption. when i send emails to people, if they are not already, zaep will
add them to my list.

so zaep connects to people’s mailservers, but rather than identifying itself properly, it would only use
the ip address, which constantly caused me to get (re)listed in the
cbl spammer database. while it /is/ easy enough to get unlisted,
it became a huge pain. and with more and more companies/universites using the lists, emails from my servers
were constantly getting blocked.

i was finally able to suss out the problem (with the help of phil from the cbl), and had to purchase an upgrade
to zaep, which fixed the identification problem. it sucks i had to dish out money that i was not planning on,
but it is nice that the problem is solved, and my servers are no longer being blacklisted.

i really do recommend zaep, though. ever since i implemented it, my spam has dropped
to literally nothing.

new layout

i’ve had this layout sitting around for ages.. thought i would /finally/ go ahead and upload it. not too sure how much i like it, though.
so, it is quite possible to change again. mind you.. i doubt it even aligns properly in IE… i haven’t even given that a look, guess i
will tackle that next week, when i have some free time… or whenever..
